Thanks For The Memories

As you have surely noticed, the Bigfork RS blog has become "inactive." We are signing off, and instead will contact all our sisters weekly in an email format. Thanks for the memories!
Love y'all!

Huge Success, No Pictures

Well Ladies, the October Relief Society Meeting was so much fun that I forgot to take pictures. There I was blabbing away to all of the sisters and I forgot my responsibilities...so sorry. We had a great turn out, and everyone had lots of fun. The food brought by Joann Tanner and Deanne Taylor was delish of course. Robyn Conner made a fun little Hawaiian dish called Manipuapua (or something like that Ü) that was lots of fun. The crafts were well recieved and I saw some ladies learning new napkin folding ideas! What a fun night. Thanks to EVERYONE who participated, especially Rosita for all her work.

Family Home Evening In the Park

Great weather for Family Home Evening in the Park!
A great time was had by all who came to the Family Home Evening night. Thanks to Bro. and Sis. Molen we were able to enjoy a lovely evening at Eagle Bend Pavillion. We ate, chatted and the children played games. We listened to a Family Home Evening lesson from the FHE manual about choosing our attitude. We learned that no one can choose for us the attitude that we have. Regardless of our circumstances we can choose to have a good attitude and to be grateful.
We ended our evening with a pie baking contest that was won by our lovely Sis. Schara! Thank you to our esteemed judges...Bro. Molen, Dean Stimpson and Bro. Westover. We were able to sample all of the pies after the judging...apple, pumpkin, chocolate supreme, huckleberry...they were delicious! How did the judges make a decision??????
Thanks to all who helped to make it great Family Home Evening.

Bread Bath & Beyond

Had a fabulous time at "You-night". There were several yummy zucchini desserts and we enjoyed ourselves making towel turbies. The recipe from the Bread class will be posted on a side bar as well as a couple of Zucchini recipes. Thanks to Teri Wilson for preparing and finishing our quilt that was tied that evening for Paula Press. We also had a great Treasure Table night, many sisters went home with gently used items. Thanks to all those who participated and helped.

Relief Society Birthday

The Relief Society Birthday Dinner was a success, thanks to all of you. We received wonderful compliments on the food and decor. "Thank you" to all of those who lent us purses! It was so fun to see the different styles and think about all of the history behind them. We had a great evening!

Below is Lana Nelson singing "Count Your Many Purses". She did a fabulous Job! Way to Go Lana!
