Rosie Adamson
Rosie Adamson comes to Bigfork from Georgia, where she lived most her life. She was born in Florida but moved to Southeast Georgia as a child. She is the youngest of five children. Rosie became a member of the church when she was seventeen, after attending church several times with a friend. Rosie is still close with the family that set the example by inviting her to hear the missionary discussions.
After Rosie's husband, Luke, served his mission in Brazil, he moved from Livingston, Montana--where he was raised--to Georgia, and it was there that Rosie and Luke met. They were married seven years ago in the Las Vegas Temple. They chose this location as a central meeting spot for both families. Luke and Rosie have two children, one boy and one girl. Their son, Maddox, is two and a half and their daughter, Bella, is six months.
When we asked Rosie about some of her hobbies she said, she doesn't like to garden, but she does enjoy havesting the food! Rosie does enjoy exercising, baking and cooking; she also likes to read, especially books about cooking and nutrition. She enjoys crafts, such as hand-crafted cards and she makes those cute hair bows you see baby Bella wearing to church. Since Maddox is getting bigger, doing crafts with him is also one of her favorite pastimes. She enjoys the outdoors…especially in the summertime. Her favorite summer activities are hiking and swimming. Although she misses her hikes in the Appalachian Mountains, she is looking forward to having Jewel Basin so close.
We really enjoyed our chance to get to know Rosie: she is a darling gal full of Southern Charm! We are so glad to have her in our ward!
