DECEMBER SPOTLIGHT - SABRINA LISLE

Sabrina Lisle is the youngest of ten children, born to Rita and Paul Lockridge in Livingston, Mt, Dec. 4, 1977.

She moved to Bozeman when she was l3 yrs. old. Sabrina has a beautiful voice and was in a womens quartet her senior year of high school. She lived in Dillon after graduation and worked as a secretary in her brother’s chiropractor office. She met her husband, Brian, who was attending Western, through going visiting teaching one time with her sister, who happened to be visiting teacher to Brian’s mother. (his mother was gone at the time but Brian was not!) They were married in the Boise temple in 1997. They lived in Dillon for 2 yrs. where her two oldest children, Aubrey and Jaden, were born. They moved to Libby in 2001, where Trinity was born and Brian joined the army.

They were separated for six months while Brian went through Boot Camp in Georgia, then the family all moved to Germany, where they lived for a year and had many wonderful adventures - visiting a different city or country, almost every weekend. (their "world tours" included Italy, Holland, Spain, Austria, & Switzerland.)

After Brian was accepted into officer’s candidate school, they moved back to Georgia, where they had the opportunity to be part of a very special stake temple day in the Washington DC Temple, and Sabrina had the privilege of being part of the choir that sang.

They lived 3 years in Virginia, where Tasher and Corianne were born, then moved to Bigfork in 2006, while Brian served his final year of service in Kuwait. The house they bought here had many problems and they’ll be forever grateful to all the ward members who did much to make it liveable and safe. Brian got out of the service in 2007 and their last child, Zedekia (Zedik) was born in 2008.

Sabrina is a very fun-loving person with many talents. She loves music, dancing, drawing, painting, entertaining, and spending time with her family. Other favorites are sports (especially volleyball and soccer) and interior design. Her ambitions are to be a "home-stager" (fix up people’s homes in preparation to sell) and to learn to play the cello. One of her great accomplishments is winning a mountain bike race (while living in Libby.)

Sabrina loves the gospel and serving in the church. She named their dog "Moroni", based on her favorite scripture - "...Verily, verily...If all men had been and were and ever would be like unto (Captain) Moroni, ...the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever...." (Alma 48: 17) Sabrina’s favorite hymn is "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God".
